Waqar Electronics prioritizes the security of our electronic products.
If you suspect a security vulnerability in any Waqar Electronics-owned products, please follow the reporting guidelines below.
Reporting Security Concerns
Employees, customers, and external parties are encouraged to report any security concerns or vulnerabilities through a designated reporting mechanism.
To report vulnerabilities:
- Contact the Waqar Electronics Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) at (add email).
Include the following information, if possible, to aid in a swift understanding of the issue:
- Type of issue
- Permanent link to the source file(s) related to the issue
- Any special configuration needed to reproduce the issue
- Step-by-step instructions to replicate the issue
- Impact of the issue, detailing potential exploitation methods
This information expedites the reporting process.
Preferred Languages
All communications are preferred to be in English and Urdu.
Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD)
Waqar Electronics adheres to Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD), encouraging independent reporters who discover a vulnerability to contact us directly. This allows for investigation and remediation before public disclosure.
Waqar Electronics’ PSIRT collaborates with the reporter throughout the investigation, providing updates as needed. With the reporter's consent, they may be recognized on our Acknowledgement page for responsibly disclosing a valid product vulnerability.
Waqar Electronics may also find vulnerabilities in other vendors' products and will follow the standard CVD process, communicating identified issues to the affected vendor or a third-party coordination center if necessary.
